Rocky Mountain National Park, Colorado

366 miles

I can't believe that two and a half days after leaving home, we're hiking in the Rockies!

This is a really beautiful place. We were very lucky to find a campsite on a holiday weekend with such little notice. That's the good news. The bad news is that we could only get one night. We would have loved to have stayed here for several days but alas it was not possible. We're making the most of it anyway. After we vacate our campsite, we're pulling the camper into the Park where they have RV parking during the day. This will allow us to get several more hours of hiking in before we have to leave. We intentionally planned a shorter drive this afternoon to allow us to linger here as long as possible.

We'll have to mark this one for a return visit someday.

My blog now is just to keep intouch with immediate family memers and to encourge others to start documenting theri journeys through life.
Thank you,
