Rawlins, WY

214 miles

This was just an overnight stopover on our way to Jackson Hole. There's not much here except a Sinclair Oil refinery. The campground is full, and we can't figure out why. There is nothing here.

In any case, the WiFi connection is good here which has allowed us to catch up one a few things.

We'll be driving up to Jackson Hole this afternoon, where we'll stay for the next couple of days. At this point, we're looking forward to more than one night stay at one place so we can catch our breath.

Post from Hannah:

Hey guys! This is Hannah here. Just wanted to tell you about the hike at the Rockys. It was all alot of fun! We went to Alberta Falls, and it was really gorgeous! Then I got some cute pictures of the little ground squirrels (or at least I think that is what they are haha). They were like, photogenic. It was all great till we started going UP the mountain. Not my best of hiking skills in that area...

Anyways, then it was on our way to RV World, where we are right now. It's in this funny rodeo town where it's SUPER windy. Seriously, forget bought wearing lipgloss here folks, because all your hair is going to be sticking to it! Well when we got here I met this girl named Shelby. She is 13 too. We hung out for the rest of the night, and watched fireworks (which will never be as good as C-ville's or Stone Mountains btw) for a little while. We also went swimming in the indoor pool (in pictures I took) and played around on the monkey bars at the playground. Oh MAN I almost forgot, we also went on these bikes that looked like mini motorcycles and rode around the RV park. That was very...different. The bikes were WAYYY to small. Anyways back to the playground, we were playing and it was like 10 pm and we were like, let's do something. Have you ever seen the movie Pink Panther? Well thats what we were doing. Haha.

The stuff we did was: snuck over to the indoor pool and it was locked, snuck over to the minigolf course and play with the "lion", then creeped over to the front and tried to climb the tiki pole and then we hugged the "dinosaur", we called it our Dino Hugging mission. Then my mom called and said it was time to sleep, so we said goodnight and went to bed. Haha I had so much fun!
